Next assignment

for my next set of photographs i want to take pictures of things on the streets or outside. Just everyday things that you would see around.

My choice

Before i searched for a picture to represent everyday i initially thought that i wanted to find a photograph of people, as i though people were a good representation of the everyday.

i searched and i came across this photo called the kids on place, by the photographer Robert Doisneau

This photo to me represents everyday, as these are just everyday kids on the street, and the photo is spontaneous and playful, they are not posing so it's very natural. Doisneau as a photographer, photographed all types of people, kids joking around, playing and enjoying life. And this is a representation of everyday as it shows what people do everyday.

This relates to my earlier work as i am also photographing people and documenting what sort of things that they do everyday around the home and various other places.

Assignment

my images are successful in terms of the theme of my assignment, and also that I took inspiration from my chosen photographer. I think that in terms of whether my photographs relate alot to my photographer is unclear as August sander took photographs of people in their everyday jobs and i documented what a family member did everyday during the holidays. However overall i feel that my photographs are successful.

For my assignment i used august sander for inspiration, as for his photography he documented people in their everyday jobs, so i photographed one member of my family throughout the Christmas holiday doing everyday things.

Everyday assignment

My everyday assignment is to take 14 photographs everyday of the christmas holiday of my family members.

The photographer that inspired me was august sander as in his photography he took photography of people in their everyday jobs. And  i am taking this as inspiration as i am going to document my family at home in their everyday work.

I took photographs of everyday items that are around the home, for the theme of everyday.

This is a photograph i took of trees, the photo looks like a silloutte as the trees are completley black and the the only colour in the photograph is the sky.
